Bahrain - which in arabic means "two seas" - was once viewed by the ancient Sumerians as an island paradise to where the wise and the brave were taken to enjoy eternal life.

The Kingdom of Bahrain is a borderless island country of great beauty and history, situated in the heart of the Persian Gulf. Sprawling skyscraper buildings in Manama lie in contrast to luxury beaches and tranquil sea, inhabited by an amazing range of diverse marine life, not to mention pearls. This busy cosmopolitan country offers a good mix nightlife, bars & restaurants, as well as golf courses, diverse shops and souks, and of course the Bahrain Grand Prix.
